Dog Suitability Quiz

Note: Dogs under 1 year are generally not trained or socialised enough, older dogs more than 12 years often have health problems. We accept dogs between the ages 1-12 years.

Note: because of legal and insurance requirements I cannot accept fighting dog breeds.

Note: for such cases an intensive medical care is needed, which unfortunately I cannot offer.

Note: On the property there are living goats and chickens, for this reason we do not accept dogs with strong hunting instincts.

Note: At this place the dogs live inside the house. We do not have outdoor kennels or huts.

Note: Agressive behavior during the dog boarding can be dangerous especially for the care-person and other people.

Note: Getting on the leash needs to be possible any time, for walking, security or emergencies.

Note: For hygenic and organisational reasons, it is nor possible to leave the food out all day. All dogs must eat their food within a short time.

Note: uncastrated females in heat can cause stress and problems in the dog group.

Note: the dog care takes place in a normal home. Strong destructive instincts are problematic.

Note: The dog care takes place in a private home. Housetraining is a prerequisite.

Note: Urine marking in the house is unhygenic and can cause conflicts.

Note: reliable obedience without a treat is important for security and harmony in the group.

Note: voluntary returning into the house makes the dog care much easier.

Besonders im Sommer ist bei der Gruppenhaltung von Hunden ein Flohschutz wichtig. Eine regelmäßige Entwurmung ist hier Voraussetzung und sehr wichtig – insbesondere, wenn Ihr Hund gerne Gras oder Katzenkot frisst.

Note: Security issues - dogs that can break out, can cause danger to others.

Note: Continuous barking disturbs the neighbors, other dogs and flatmates on the property.

Note: Continuous barking or panic when separated is not suitable for this location, and is very stressfull for the dog.

Hinweis: Wenn Sie nur eine einmalige Betreuung suchen, empfehle ich, jemanden aus Ihrem Umfeld zu fragen – zum Beispiel einen Studenten, Nachbarn oder Rentner –, der auf Ihren Hund aufpassen kann.
Ich biete ausschließlich eine langfristige Betreuung an, damit ich eine Beziehung zu den Hunden aufbauen und ihr Sozialverhalten gut kennenlernen kann. Hunde, die regelmäßig bei mir in Betreuung sind, haben immer Vorrang. Aus organisatorischen Gründen nehme ich daher so gut wie keine Hunde für einmalige Betreuungen auf.
